Grand Boutique Hotel is located in the heart of the city of Bucharest within walking distance to some of the prime touristic and cultural points of interest as well as to business and shopping centers. At the same time, the hotel is tucked away from the noise and traffic of the city main arteries.
In the same time it is hidden from the clutter of the big boulevardes which can be found in most european capitals.
Within five to ten minutes’ walk one can go from our hotel to Rosetti Square (Paita Rosetti), Very Little Theater (Teatrul Foarte Mic), University Square (Piata Universitati).
University Square is the official center of the city and here you will find the National Theater (Teatrul National) which opened in 1852, the Sutu Palace, today functioning as a museum, as well as the central campus of the University of Bucharest.
From here you can enter the area known as The Old Town (Orasul Vechi) and explore numerous picturesque streets that kept the original city architectural style and atmosphere.
Also from here, if you choose to go left on Victory Avenue you’ll be going towards Macca-Vilacrosse passage, Bucharest Financial Plaza, National Museum of History, Statue of Trajan, The Union Square and the Union Boulevard which leads further to The Parliament Palace (also known as The House of People); all in walking distance.
If you go right you’ll pass by Capsa House, Odeon Theatre, Telephone Palace, Revolution Square, Kretzulescu Church, The National University Tunnel, the National Museum of Art, the Romanian Athenaeum, Știrbey Palace, Museum of Art Collections, The Cantacuzino Palace which hosts The George Enescu Museum and you’ll soon arrive in Victory Square.
Continuing straight ahead from the University Square you’ll pass by the famous Cismigiu Garden and a bit further you will come upon the National Opera building.
